Contrary to the doxa of the political ecology, property rights are at the core of civilization and, provided they are adapted to the new environmental challenges, they are also the best safeguard against overregulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e4e2217c-5032-4165-b463-d2febb6b34d0\">The book includes contributions by: Jonathan H.
