This is a precious and rare publication in France where politicians and media alike are addict to environmental doom and refer to Carson, Ehrlich, and Gore not to mention Malthus.<\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact this book is akin to Ronald Bailey\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/End-Doom-Environmental-Renewal-Twenty-first\/dp\/1250057671\" target=\"_blank\">The end of doom, Environmental renewal in the 21<sup>st <\/sup>century<\/a>\u201d (2015) which by the way does not mention Tertrais\u2019s publication.That means that this unvolontary convergence reinforces the thesis of optimism.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019apocalypse n\u2019est pas pour demain\u00a0\u00bb par Bruno Tertrais, Deno\u00ebl, 280 p., 2011<\/p>\n<p>Max Falque<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this excellent book Bruno Tertrais advocates the fact that contrary to politically correctness the environmental conditions are improving worldwide.
